ABOUT ME

My full name is Maximiliano Eríquez Rivera. I graduated in 2022 from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. I have a Bachelor´s degree in Communicaton, with speciality in Film and Writting. While I was studying I also took courses and certifications. Among the certifications, I took two with Neil Gaiman and R.L Stine (two of my favorites writers). There I learned a lot about worldbuilding, character development and fantasy horror for children. I also took a certification in stopmotion and storytelling with @cinemafantasma the actual creators of Frankelda.

Later my life took an unexpected turn and I started studying Tantra, meditation and Yoga. I took courses to train as a teacher of Tantra and Yoga with various teachers such as Sadhguru, Johnathan White and Gea and Sabina. This is how I eventually came to create NEHEM, a space to help people seek their fullness as people and inner growth to develop their spirituality.

Currently, after six years of writing and editing work. I´m publishing in digital format the saga of novels Hologram State. A total of 6 books of science fiction and cosmic fantasy for children and adults. Currently I am working as a freelance writer, I have meditation courses with mantras to learn how to cultivate spiritual growth in my webpage of NEHEM. I´m open and looking for a full time job.

What do I believe in?

Throughout my short 28 years I have experienced anxiety, depression and stress (like many). All my work as both a writer and meditation teacher. I have focused on inner growth. For I faithfully believe that we have a soul that is watching everything our mind does. But as we identify with the mind, we begin to suffer in life, for we believe that we are this body and what we think of it.

However, there is an engine that supplies life to this body, that engine we call the soul. Nobody knows how the heart lives, nobody knows what happens after death, and above all... nobody, or at least 99% of us does not know who we are. The vast majority of us are identified with this body, and these thoughts.
With all this in mind, I believe that we are here to help each other to transit this world, grow our inner self by cleansing it (of greed, anger, shame, abandonment, lust, possessiveness, pride, contempt, etc) to discover that we have always had an inner light which we all call: Love.

For this reason I decided that I wanted to write stories for children and for all those souls who in reality have always known that they are children, playing and experiencing in this world. Whose ultimate goal has always been to remember what we have lost growing up in this life?...
